Want to see your child shine on stage with more confidence and charisma? Competition provides dancers with the exciting opportunity to learn and grow as an individual and part of the team. Here at Turner Danceworks we believe in positive and inspiring experiences. We encourage a healthy positive competitive experience based on teamwork, support from teachers and peers and most importantly a passion for dance and performing. Competition can be a fantastic tool to help develop dancer’s skills, confidence and stage presence as well as give them opportunity to learn from other choreographers and dancers. As a team, we celebrate everyone’s accomplishments.

JR PERFORMANCE TEAM (PPT)

We are so excited to continue our PPT. This program is designed specifically for our younger dancers who love the stage but aren't ready for the full commitment of the competition team. Check out the guide below for more details. 

Turner Danceworks is an ADAPT certified studio. We offer our students the opportunity to take their Jazz and Tap ADAPT exams. 

Why should you take exams?

​​The examination process encourages each and every student to work harder with a focus on technique. Students focus on achieving their best personal potential. Dancers who participate in exams see exponential growth in their dance technique and ability. 

​Dancers are invited to participate in exams. If you are new to our studio or are interested in taking your exams, please contact Miss Kris and Miss Sam.

Exam classes begin early fall with the exams taking place in December.
